Finding Blaupunkt Serial Number
To obtain the radio code for the Blaupunkt unit, commonly installed in Micra vehicles, follow the next steps:

- After removing, seek the label affixed to the radio unit.
- On this label, find the 14-digit serial number located above or under the barcode.
- Note: The serial number begins with "BP." An example might be: BP539369342101.

What is a Radio Code?
A Nissan radio code is a security feature designed to prevent unauthorized use of the vehicle's audio system. Usually a sequence of numbers (often 4 digits), this code acts as a password for your car radio. If the vehicle battery is disconnected or replaced, or if the radio unit is removed or replaced, the radio will be locked as a security measure. Once locked, the activation code must be entered to unlock it and get it working again.
My Radio is Locked
The radio may lock out if you have entered too many wrong codes. Fortunately, these locks are not permanent and are only intended to prevent you from abusing this feature. On most Nissan radio models, this lockout clears after 60 minutes. If this does not occur, try disconnecting the battery fuse for a few seconds and try again. If you have the Touch & Connect unit and the display says, "Contact your Nissan dealership," then you have reached the limit of attempts. This error can only be fixed by an official dealer.

This unit type does not require an activation code but only works when the memory's VIN matches the car's VIN where it is installed.
